The organizer has prepared several draft scripts on which the film can be shot.

I. Odyssey on the Adriatic

A film from the ten-year adventure of the ancient Greek hero Odysseus. The film argues that Odysseus wandered the Adriatic instead of around Sicily. We visit localities on the Adriatic that to this day bear names from Odysseus’ adventures. Winds are analyzed, nautical routes are conducted, experiments are conducted and an attempt is made to come up with an answer to where these Odysseus wanderings really were.

II. Fourth Crusade (1202-1204)

A film about the Crusades in which the Crusaders destroyed and occupied Christian cities. It is a story that this route follows very faithfully. It begins in Venice, which was then the Venetian Republic. The Venetians transported crusaders with their fleet, and they conquered Christian cities to pay for transportation. First they captured Zadar on the east coast of the Adriatic, and at the end of the journey Constantinople, today’s Istanbul. This is a film about the causes of war, the actions of the Pope and the dramatic consequences of war that will eventually lead to the weakening of Byzantium and the establishment of the Ottoman Empire.

III. Sultan of the Four Seas

This is a quasi-documentary about the secret life of a successful businessman who established a hiden network of female associates with whom he conquers the world with a combination of blockchain and contact tracing technologies. The draft script is secret and can only be made available to the guest.

IV. Wines of the Eastern Mediterranean

A documentary about the beginnings of vine growing in the Mediterranean. How this plant spread with the development of ancient cultures. History of grape growing and wine production. Construction of stone walls, change of landscape. Grapevine diseases and their impact on the island’s economy and emigration. Visits to vineyards and wineries. Varieties of wine produced today. Wine tasting, a story about pairing wine with dishes.
