Tour Details

Croatian Adriatic coast has become the unavoidable and the most important sailing destination in the world.

In addition to a pleasant Mediterranean climate, it is enough to look at the map and by seeing the indented coastline it is immediately clear why it is so.

Of all the sailing routes in the Adriatic, if you only have a week at your disposal, our proposal is to sail from Split to Dubrovnik. One way sailing from Split to Dubrovnik or vice versa is the best possible choice.

The main reasons are the following:

  • Split and Dubrovnik have well connected international airports in their immediate proximity.
  • Both Split, Trogir and Dubrovnik are two cities that you should definitely visit if you are on vacation in Croatia
  • On the waterway between Split and Dubrovnik there is the national park Mljet and two nature parks, the Lastovo archipelago and the island of Šćedro.
  • There is also the famous party destination, the city of Hvar with Paklinski Islands
  • Numerous hidden coves; here you can also find the largest areas in the Adriatic without any settlements
  • Favorable winds
  • There is no light pollution in a significant part of the sea surface, and at night the sky is clear and the Milky Way is often seen. The most beautiful experience is when during such clear nights there is a Northwest wind and go on night-time sailing.
  • Gastronomic offer is the best here

If, instead on weekends, you start your week-long vacation on a sailboat on weekdays, say Wednesday, then you're completely avoiding the crowds at sea. When all sailing boats are far away on the islands, you are boarding in an empty marina, and you reach the distant islands during the weekend when all other sailing boats are on the coast.

Sports adventure

We often use the big sails for sailing downwind, gennaker and spinnaker, which others rarely do

Without doubt the best and most relaxed holiday ever...

Thank you so much for the lovely holiday cruise on Bogey 1. Without doubt the best and most relaxed holiday ever.
We’ll never forget our canoe trip into Dubrovnik, watching the world cup in the harbour and swimming in beautiful bays.
Regards to Ivan who was a fantastic host and kept our glasses full. He is such a nice guy. We loved the traditional dishes you prepared and the atmosphere on board. We’ll be back again if you will have us. Maybe you might sail to Ireland.

A real sailing experience

Sailing is fun, but sailing is also a sport and it is a special feeling when you are sailing on a yacht that is more powerful than other yachts in your local waters

Night sailing has a special dimension

This is something quite different from daily sailing. I have not heard of others offering such a service, it can only be done by people who love what they do.
Ships are the nearest things to dreams that hands have ever made

Go Around the World by Returning to the Old Place

Go around the world by returning to the old place. 2019 is a year of great anniversaries. Fifty years since man first landed on the Moon and five hundred years since the beginning of Magellan’s sail around the world. These two anniversaries are the motive for our project in which we gather luxurious yachts that will...

older sailing yachts

There are older sailing yachts that are much better and have better performance than the latest yachts

The newest yachts are generally of worse quality than older yachts. When guests acquire for a yacht they often want the yacht to be as new as possible. Typical requirements are that they do not want a yacht older than 7 years, and there are more and more demands and that the yacht should not...

Testimonial: Bogey is the most beautiful boat we've ever sailed on...

We’ve been sailing for ten years together all over the Mediterranean. Bogey is the most beautiful boat we’ve ever sailed on..
We started sailing as friends from work more than ten years ago. In the meantime, we all left the company we were working for, but we continued sailing together.
We’ve been through all the sailing destinations in the Mediterranean.
Besides being the most beautiful yacht we’ve ever been on, Bogey is specific because of the fact that the yacht owner was also our skipper.
He has the habit of inviting guests who like sailing, to go sailing on the regattas outside the season. I have accepted the invitation three times. Regattas on Bogey are a great way of hanging out.
